Assoc.Prof. Cemal KARACo-Founder & General Surgery Specialist
He was born in 1974 in Vakfikebir Trabzon.
He studied medicine at Karadeniz Technical University. He became a general surgeon in 2008.
Between 2008-2015, he served as a general surgery specialist at Karşıyaka State Hospital. After working in private hospitals in Izmir, he has been serving in his own private clinic (Aegean Surgery Clinic) as of 2022.
He has published 19 international and 17 national scientific studies in his field. It has won awards in many international and national scientific competitions, and also patented a laparoscopic surgical instrument of its own invention, for which it won an award.
In 2008, he was successful in the exam organized by the Turkish Surgical Association and received a surgical proficiency certificate.
He is a member of Turkish Surgery Association, Turkish Colon and Rectum Association, Aegean Region Surgery Association, İzmir Medical Chamber Association.
Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and Oncologic (cancer) surgery are his special interests.
He earned the title of “Associate Professor” in 2017.
More than 9000 laparoscopic gastric surgeries and more than 20000 laparoscopic general surgery operations
He has a total of more than 30000 surgical operations experience.
